I waxed the skis of three middle school Nordic racers this winter: my son and two friends. I used this wax as the base wax for each event. The two boys finished the season by coming in 4th and 5th in the County Championship series…and they were the two highest placed 7th graders, the only 7th graders in the top 10. They raced on run of the mill, economy (cheap) skate skis–not worth buying race skis when they out grew them by the end of the season.Note that high flouro waxes are most…
