True to size, comforable, and quality construction. I wear between a 7 3/4 or a size 8 hat. I ordered the Extra large and found it to fit perfectly. I wore it all winter with the included ear muffs in temps ranging from sub 0 to over 35 degrees Fahrenheit. I was always warm and comfortable. When the temps reached above 35 near the end of the season I snapped out the liner (which takes 10 seconds) and kept on going.
