With all-mountain capabilities to keep you entertained all day long, you’ll feel like a little kid in a candy shop with these sticks on your feet. The V8’s waist ranges from 107 to a portly 119mm depending on your preferred ski length, making this ski a serious weapon for hot lapping pow fields and dropping stacks of pillows.Although the V8 rips it to oblivion on the descent, you won’t be dragging deadweight up the hill–a pair of the 176s weighs in at just 7lb 9oz, so you’ll be gliding up the skin track with a few laps still in you by the end of the day. The light weight is thanks to an aspen wood core, reinforced by a carbon fiberglass laminate to make sure that your ultra-light ski doesn’t share the same properties as a wet noodle. For such a fat ski the V8 has a tight turn radius, giving you a snappy responsiveness you’ll be stoked on when you end up in high-consequence terrain.
