Alpina Sports Alaska Heat Heated Leather Backcountry Cross Country Nordic Ski Boots, Euro 46, Red

A backcountry boot with the warmth you’ve always craved! The Alpina Alaska HEAT Backcountry Boot goes the extra mile to help keep your feet warm. With the use of Alpina’s Temp battery operated forefoot heating system, the Alaska HEAT heats across the top of your toes through a built-in two-level heating system. With the push of a button your boot provides added toe warmth for up to six hours. The Temp system has been proven successfully in downhill ski boots for years. Alpina marries this Temp system with a Nordic ski boot built like a mountaineering boot for the best in backcountry warmth and control. These NNN-BC binding-compatible Nordic boots are made with a robust leather upper, protective rubber rand, a waterproof membrane, Thinsulate brand insulation, and Temp heating system for the best in durability, moisture control, and warmth. The Rottefella NNN-BC III sole and Alpina midsole have a medium flex which is stiff enough for good control on descents while still giving you a comfortable stride for long distance touring. An anatomic foot bed provides a comfortable fit, a soft tall collar helps to keep your ankle comfortable, and the lacing system allows for a precise and comfortable fit. Features: Temp heat system, Alpitex waterproof breathable membrane, Full-grain leather uppers, protective rubber rand, lace closure with roller lacing points, medium flex, soft collar, anatomical foot bed, and NNN-BC binding compatible soles, available in EUR sizes 40 to 47.
