I ordered the large to fit over thick sweaters etc … The jacket is getting five stars. The fit is generous and will accommodate sweaters or whatever you wear under it. The pockets are very handy I can’t comment on the warmth as I’ve not used it yet. I live in SoCal and will be wearing this on a trip to Banff. I was warm at Big Bear & Colorodo with this on along with two long sleeves & two hoodies worn umder the ski jacket. Also fit slightly big but wasn’t a problem since I wore a lot of layers under. Pockets along the outer sleeves, inner secret pockets, and zipper outer hand pockets were a great bonus.
