The pom pom is much smaller than the one pictured… The hat itself is super cute and the quality is pretty decent; however, the pom pom is not as large as the one pictured by the seller. It is much smaller. I bought the adult version of this hat as well and the pom pom is the size that was suppose to come with the kid’s hat. The button on the top of the hat, where the pom pom attaches to, is already loose and about to fall off. This is absolutely adorable! I was a bit worried about buying this for my 3 year old based on all of the reviews I saw saying that the hat runs extremely small. My daughter’s head is in the 80th percentile and this hat fit just fine. In fact, I imagine it’ll fit for another couple of years comfortably.
